Bihar a place of king satyavarta or manu was once famous for hub of knowledge and great personality to world likes of Maharishi Balmiki, Guru Chankya, King Chandra Gupta Maurya, Ashoka the great, Great mathematician Aryabhata to Dr Rajendra Prasad, Jaiprakash naryan & ustad Bismillah khan.
Chandra Gupta maurya played a great role unifying modern India. his empire was expended from benagal in east to afganistan and bluchistan in the west to kashmir in north, his era has seen great social and religious reform , Where Budhism , Jainism took shape by Gautam Budh and Mahavira respectively and spread all over the world.
Emergence of week kings and rulers at later stage after the King Bindusara grandson of the great Ashoka and lack of unity among the then Kings leads British to took control of the Indian empire, who ddemolished our educational institute, our cultural and social bonding by divide and rule theory.
When we see our past we feel proud of it and also feel shame at the same time because we could not sustained our glorious past.
With the rise of leaders like Lalu Prasad yadav in nineties, our hopes became alive as he was then known as a Gareebon Kay masseha ( saviour of poors), initially he worked on his guru Mr Jai prakash narayan's dream of socialism and somewhat he succeeded too.He was able remove untouchability from society and made the ignored people to participate in society and provided political space.
As he was socialist his main focus was on eqality, so he did that but unfortunately he couldn't made Bihar economically strong.
His next term witnessed corruption, kidnapping, dynasty politics bad governess and also lead him to jail. those years is being called by opposition as Jungle Raj.
After his political decline a new hope arise in the form of Nitish Kumar once his close friend who parted ways and in alliance with BJP then lead by one of the most popular leader Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee. This collation made great attempts to restore lost glory of Bihar. His development agenda gave him name of Vikash Purush. He got his name and fame on national level and high on the popularity wave he won second term too.
But again as saying goes "every rise has a decline after certain stage". He became over ambitious & tried to come on national stage, leaving Bihar confused. He broke the alliance on silly reason after the emergence of Mr Narendra Modi on national stage as he was his one and only competitor in good governess.
He was hoping to form an alliance with other national parties in the name of secularism. But his calculated risk failed.
He resigned from chief minister post and handed over to Mr Jiten ram manjhi again a Calculated risk to woo sc/st cast in next elelection, but instead of focusing on good governess Mr Jiten ram manjhi has became famous for all wrong reason.
This is leading to again collapse of social environment and Bihar's growth.
The general public is waiting to achieve it's lost glory but no one listening. Are you??
