Janta dal...is it relevant today ?

The Indian general election in 1996 gave country no clear majority to any single party. With the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) emerging as the largest party, with 161 of 543 seats, it got invitation to form government by the president Mr shankar dayal Sharma and Atal Bihari Bajpayee was sworn in as prime minister.

However, he was unable to reach a majority  mark irrespective of negotiation with several  regional parties, realising that he can not  garner require support he resigned , that was the end of his 13 days government.

Indian national congress on other hand has 140 seats but could not gather support from other parties to form the government as janta dal,who won 45 seats with several aspirents of prime minister post was playing their own card to form the government.

13 parties coalition led to the , making of the united front and they formed government lead by H.D Deve gowda  then karnatka chief minister with supporrt from congress and CPI(M).

within few months country saw political instability as congress withdrawn it's support, then Mr indra kumar Gujral became prime minister. Troubles yet to finish as CBI ask Bihar government to prosecute Mr lalu prasad yadav in fodder scam. Mr gujral has no choice but to approve.

That led Mr lalu Prasad to break janta dal and formed his own party rastriya janta dal with 17 out of 45 janta dal MP.
Within two years country has seen three prime minister.

Janata Dal, Samajwadi party, DMK, TDP, AGP, All india congress (tiwari), left front (4 parties), Tamil Manila Congress, National conference, DMK, AGP, TDP, and BJD were in United Front.

All heads of these party again coming together to make themselves relevant in current political environment as they are marginalised by general public due to their inaction, castism, opportutinism, corruptions, scams, dynasty rule and lack of vision for country growth.

We are yet to visualize what their policy and vision documents would be, will they be able to make themselves relevant , will they be able to stop Narendra Modi, Will they be able to drop their ego n aspiration , will they work for the betterment of public ...

This kind of several incidents took country back to elelection in 1998.

It was the time when country saw ambitions and aspirations coming in the way of governess and rise of regional parties.

Or do we need their socialist policy although they never work for the same...or do we need another political instability...or do we need another secularism vs communilism politics....or do we need politics for the developdevelopment ?

Let's think, wait & watch as the drama unfolds.

Making her Uattarpradesh incharge for 2019 election hoping that she will revive congress 2009 performance of 29 seats. Congress has made a big bet on priyanka and future of congress, if she succeeds in her assignment she will  be on way of to become next Indira Gandhi, on contrary if she fails it will be final nail in the coffin of congress. Now as she has got involved directly in active politics , it will be intresting to see what contribution she is going to make in Indian politics and a sinking congress upliftment . Rahul Gandhi just completed 13 month as national president of congress but if we leave recent win in election of 3 state tha

A federal front in 2019 ?

Few month left for general election in India. All parties trying to woo public by all means be it regional aspirations or religion, cast matrix. Coming to national parties Congress, once upon a time rulling all India ,now has shrink to regional party level, however all partyman has high hope this time with new energy ,that they got from recently conculuded 3 state election. However political analysts says that this win is because of anti incumbency of previous government and not efforts of Congress national president. Anyway a win is a win maybe it's small but far enough to boost demotivated congressi soldiers to stand again. They have left miniority appeasement for some time and running behind majority vote . Their current action on ayodhya case distruption is big drawback , people has understood their tantaram and mostly will not buy it. Rahul Gandhi is trying to form a coilation of opposition parties but regional party chief has bigger aspirations than

There is too much noise about Priyanka Gandhi in political circle , who has been recently appointed as a General Secretary of Eastern UP, people are also talking about Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj party coming together for 2019 election. Political pundits are calculating Pro and cons of recently formed coalition of SP and BSP, effect of Priyanka Gandhi in National politics.  Very few political pundits are talking about Bihar Chief Minister Mr Nitish Kumar & Orissa Chief Minister Mr Naveen Patnaik. Both of them are chief minister from long time and are very experienced in National politics. They are known to be very astute while judging political wave in India and Are Very respected leader by all political party.  Come closer to them in terms of political awareness and popularity is Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee who is trying to form a coalition of third front except Congress and has her on ambition to occupy top post. however she has limitation even
