As Mr Nitish kumar became chief minister of bihar after sidelining his one time best and a mahadalit friend Mr jiten ram Manjhi, as he refuses to become muse of ex cm Nitish.
But question is whether he is a people's elected cm or is a byproduct of jugar system that is prevalant in our sociaty.
Lets go into history, 5 year ago in 15th assembly election people gave clear majority to NDA with 206 seat out of 243. 115 to JDU & 91 seats to BJP, as bihari people wanted a government that is focus on governess and Development. That they toghether as part of NDA did , but as popularity of good governess spread across.
Nithish ambitions grows , he was being discussed among prime time news channels and editorial of national news paper among one of the contender of prime minsterial seat, that was scheduled to happen in may 2014, , media started highliting him a true face of secularism who can compete with growing popularity of his contemprory then Gujrat chief minister Mr Narendra Modi.
Due to hype of media his aspirations took wings and he took calculated risk aiming to kill two birds with one stone. Making himself viable on national stage and keeping grip on bihar politics.
He broke alliance with NDA and took support of RJD and CONGRESS and remains chief ministers, although he won 2010 election opposing their leadership and Jungle raj, to face Narendra Modi in national election.
He made new friend in the form of Mr Lalu prasad yadav and congress, he forced his one time best friend BJP to bacome new political enemy. He got support of them and continued till genral election result came.
As bihari public known very active in politics gave him real shock , for bettrayal of mandate, he got failed, looses badly getting only 2 seats for party. All the hype and prime time news did not help him. Under huge presser from party, he took responsiblity of defeat and resigned from chief ministers post.
But afraid to loosing grip from bihar politics , He decided to keep control of bihar by using his favourite weapon of micro engeeniring of cast and community , by installing a CM of mahadalit cast as his muse, by keeping his eye on 2016 assembly election.
Intially Mr Jiten ram manjhi played his muse, but once he settled, he started his making own place in bihar politics by ditching Nitish and his man from government and he was suceeded in his intention by the time Nitish realises his another mistake.
He wanted again to become cm of bihar but manjhi refused make a way, so here came the Jugad, that was seen by all and one in last two months , ultimately him becaming CM of bihar.
Now he is eying 2016 assembly election and again blieving in his micro engeeniring of cast and community. Will it work ...time will tell.
But question remains the same is it same government who won the mandate to govern ??? Will people of bihar will accept him by heart or again they will give reply in same way as they gave in genral election...
