Today we will talk about journalism in India.
There seems to emerging a thoughts in public that all media house has become corrupt or selling news on behalf of their own interest or their bosses.
Why like this...to know this one need to focus on current affairs of India start from Ramadan month ( a festival where Muslims keep fast day time and pray to almighty for peace and prosperity ) .
Incident no 1. One political party leader orders for lunch in restaurant .. he tasted it and did not found tasty or worth he paying for. He calls the manager and ask him to taste this. Or in another word he is forcing him to eat by his hand.
You will think why I am mentioning a general case of customer complaint....citing an incident.
So folks , look how our media made breaking news of this....since the manager was a Muslim by religion and customer was a Hindu by religion that too from a political party that has it's root in promoting Hinduism.
So the breaking news came out on print media and digital media that one Hindu was forcing one Muslim to eat while he was on fasting in the holy month of Ramadan.
if This Was not enough they ran it on television 24x7 with group discussion by self confessed intellectuals.
Now coming to other incidents of same month.
No 2. Village kanth in utter pradesh formally known as UP an Indian state, where Muslims force one temple to remove loudspeakers. Since it was disturbing their Ramadan month. But remember the loudspeakers are not recently installed and India is not an Islamic state.
No 3. A group of Muslims in Saharanpur again in UP an Indian state after Friday prayer in mosque came out with intention to destroy a community's shops and kill them; infact three person from the sikh community killed one inspector got shot in the same holy month of Ramadan.
No 4. Merat district of Uttar Pradesh , state of India, one Hindu girls who was an English teacher in madrasa got kidnapped by madrsa staff raped by them removed her kidney and then converted her forcfully to Islam.
No 5. A group attacked on amarnath Yatree to stop them.
These are only few incident. But surprisingly no media either print or digital has discussed them on their platform as they discussed a customer complaint by making it breaking news 24x7.
I am not blaming any community for this messup...but leaving on you to decide who is actual culprit who is spreading hatered among public. Is this a right way of journalism ???
